42 :: 90 {Solstice to Equinox}

Tonight, we met at the Hook for a full moon tidepool party with Andre's middle school class and families. Some of these families we have known for most of our kids' lives; some of these families we met this week.

Watching the new students integrate into this group of established friendships, watching these kids revel in the world around them, watching the sky turn pink (and the ocean match it), watching the supermoon rise behind the mountains and shine upon the water. I am struck by the beauty of connection, the power and grace of nature, the mystery of love and kinship.
